A French bred race horse, Silviniaco Conti was a leading National hunter who won many long distance races over fences, victories include the Ascot Hurdle, Charlie Hall Chase, Betfair Chase and Denman Chase, he also raced in the Cheltenham gold cup as well as the grand national.
